An Extravagant Hunger: Read It This Fall

According to The Kitchn: An Extravagant Hunger: The Passionate Years of M.F.K. Fisher is one of their Eight Thoughtful Food Books Worth Reading This Year I am so honored to be on this list!

I don't know about what's happening where you are, but fall has finally hit San Francisco. We've been building fires, cooking stews, and getting cozy. I'm inspired by many of the fall cookbooks on The Kitchn's list, including Cook This Now by Melissa Clark and The Foods of Morocco by Paula Wolfert, as well as some meaty non-fiction -- A Thousand Lives by Julia Scheeres. What's on your list to cook and read this autumn?
