| A hearty back-to-school breakfast of toast and runny eggs |
Tomorrow, September 30th, 2010 at 4PM, I'll be speaking to Dr. Susan Cayleff's graduate students about "Narrating Women's Lives." The seed for my MA thesis (which eventually became my book) was planted in this class at SDSU, and I am so excited to return to share news about, An Extravagant Hunger: The Passionate Years of M.F.K. Fisher, and all I learned while writing it.
On Saturday I'll be a part of a panel at the University. Along with other SDSU Women's Studies graduates, I'll be discussing what I've done with my degree post graduation. The discussion will take place from 2 to 3:30 in the Arts and Letters Building Room 204.
My return visit is already inspiring lots of memories about how the idea for my book took hold.... I'll be sharing that story here, soon.
